This is our purebred American Rough Coat collie "Maple" at 10 months old and already
weighing in at 65 pounds!  He is a wonderfully gentle dog and just a delightful
addition to our family.  He was bred by Highlandblue Collies in Toronto, Ontario.  Look out for that cat below Maple!

I am an avid motorcycle enthusiast.  I currently own 4 motorcycles, including a 2004 Yamaha FZ6, an 88 Yamaha TZR250, an 88 Yamaha YSR50 and a Japanese imported 1988 Yamaha TDR50.  Here is a picture of my 2004 Yamaha FZ6.

I also own a rare 1987 Yamaha TZR250 two stroke twin. Only 100 were imported into Canada.  I have co-owned it since 1989, and it has never been on the road.  It was purchased from a wreckers for $300 with a twisted frame (it has an aluminum delta box frame).  Pricing the frame out new from Yamaha left us stunned....$1800 for a new one!  We swore to find one at a wreckers and thus began the 11 year search, ending on the net, finding one in New Zealand for $60 canadian!!  Wheeeee).  Now it is just waiting to be assembled, but other bikes take precedence :(

My 1988 Yamaha YSR50.  It is an air cooled 50 cc two stroke mini race bike.  It is an absolute blast to ride and I have made the Port Dover Friday the 13th journey on it 3 times.  That's over 350 kms round trip.  It sure turned a lot of heads at Dover!

I also enjoy playing cards, games, reading, rollerblading, camping, fishing, skiing (with ski blades), mountain biking, pool (8-ball) and most sports.  I have driven motorcycles for over 20 years.  I am always laughing and you will rarely see me in a lousy mood.  I enjoy science fiction and fantasy books. Some great reading are: The Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan, The Fionavar Tapestries by Guy Gavriel Kay, The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien and The Dragonriders of Pern by Anne McCaffrey.  Check out these musical groups, Genesis and Blue Rodeo.   My favorite movie is the Pink Panther with Peter Sellers.   Now please don't tell me that you have never seen these movies.  If you have not, do yourself a favor and rent them!  They are timeless, classic and absolutely hilarious.  You can't help but love ol' bumbling Inspector Clouseau and his corny French accent.  Or, if you would like to see how talented Peter Sellers is, rent The Party, where he plays an East Indian actor that destroys everything he touches!  You'll laugh till it hurts!
 

I was a secretary for many years, until I took maternity leave.  While off with my kids, I discovered Ebay! Now I sell from time to time on Ebay!  It is true...one man's (ok woman's) junk is another man's treasure!  It's true that they say when you find a job you love, it doesn't feel like work.
 

If you want to listen to the new Beatles, you have to listen to some Blue Rodeo.  They are one of Canada's best selling bands.  They have quite the variety of songs, from hard rock, to folk, to country, to pop.  They have numerous Juno awards, best selling albums and #1 hits.  They were even featured in Post Cards from the Edge, featuring Shirley McClaine and Meryl Streep.  The two lead singers have unbelievable voices, and you just can't help but tap your foot to their songs.  I don't know anyone that does not like Blue Rodeo. Click on their pic to go to their listening room.  I recommend "Trust Yourself", "Try", or "It Could Happen To You".  Oh, and they are one of the best live bands you could see!  They put on quite the performance, and are always known to let people backstage to meet them after the concert to sign autographs and take pics with them!
